Flathead Valley Softball & Baseball

Baseball in the Flathead Valley has been a huge part of the community for over seventy years. With all of the local programs, there is no doubt that baseball has made its mark here.

Kalispell Lakers

The first known American Legion Baseball team was fielded in Kalispell in 1947; this just so happened to be the Kalispell Lakers. The Kalispell Legion Baseball Association, as we know it today, was organized in 1968 while the Kalispell Lakers were officially established in 1970. However, in 1987, the Lakers fielded two teams for the first time; the “A” and “B” teams. Today, the Lakers Baseball Association has three different teams: AA, A, and B.

The Kalispell Auto Group has had the pleasure of being a Homerun Sponsor for the Kalispell Lakers for many years.

Kalispell Babe Ruth Baseball

Kalispell Babe Ruth Baseball was formed in the 1950’s as a recreational baseball league that offers competitive team play for area youth ages 13-15 years old. Players range from those that are moving up from Kalispell Pee Wee/Cal Ripken league (12 and under) and those that are brand new to the game of baseball.  The purpose of Kalispell Babe Ruth is to maintain and promote baseball activities for the greater community. The whole league is made up of an all volunteer and active Board of Directors.

Kalispell Ford and Kalispell Toyota both sponsor their own Babe Ruth teams every year.

Columbia Falls Baseball

Columbia Falls Baseball is a youth baseball organization offering a fun and educational experience to children between the ages of 4-12.  These young players compete in four different leagues: T-Ball, Rookie, Minors, and Majors. The Columbia Falls Baseball organization offers a fun way for local kids to play ball and get involved with the community.

Kalispell Fastpitch Softball

The Kalispell Youth Softball Association was formed to organize a program of competitive leagues for girls 14 years old and under. It prepares them to compete at the local, regional, and/or national levels in the sport and fastpitch softball. They also work to provide a strong learning experience for youth players and their coaches through recreational play, tournament play, competitive travel play, and fundamental skill development. Kalispell Fastpitch strives to provide a competitive and continual environment of growth and life experience through the game of softball.
