July 2022 | Local Events in Kalispell Montana

It was a busy July for the Kalispell Auto Group. We were proud to sponsor multiple events and had a couple internal get togethers as well. We love to give back to our local community as often as we can. We value being good community citizens. We give willingly to and are actively involved in the support of our communities because they provide us our success. Although we have the same local owner for our Kalispell Toyota, Kalispell Ford, and Kalispell Volkswagen dealerships we sponsor events as Kalispell Auto Group or as the individual dealership.

Columbia Falls Community Market

We just love local markets and the one located in Columbia Falls is among the best! There you will find a variety of food trucks, local artist, local farmers selling fresh produce, live music from local bands, and other vendors. There is always something fun to find and fun to be had. On July 21st the Kalispell Auto Group was present with a tent and we were able to bring along two vehicles to feature. The first was our 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro in lime green. Second was our 2022 F-150 Lightning all electric truck. The only one currently in the Flathead Valley! The F-150 Lightning is not available for sale at this time although it is available to test drive! We had a great time giving away sunglasses, t-shirts, and mixed herb seeds. However visiting with our local community members is always our favorite part.

We will be back at the Columbia Falls Community Market on September 22nd, 2022. Make sure you stop by the Kalispell Auto Group tent to say hello and get your free goodies!

Bigfork Rodeo Montana’s Toughest Cowboy

If you enjoy action packed entertainment, great food, and live music then this is the event for you. The Bigfork Rodeo is usually hosted in July and this year was held on July 29th and 30th. Watch as cowboys and cowgirls compete to see who will be named Montana’s Toughest Cowboy. The rodeo events included bucking broncos, bull riding and barrel racing. The Kalispell Auto Group was proud to be a continued sponsor for this family friendly event hosted in Bigfork Montana. We did not have a tent at the rodeo but enjoyed a table with VIP access that we distributed to our hard working employees at all three of our dealerships. Ford Parts and Service Golf Outing

Did we mention how we love to reward our employees? Because we do! On July 25th our Ford Parts and Service Team was invited to Buffalo Hills Golf Course to enjoy a fun evening of golf followed by dinner. Everything was included and everyone from both departments were invited to join. We indulged in a gourmet steak dinner with salad, potatoes, veggies and of course, dinner roll. It was delicious! After dinner we gave away prizes to our valued employees, with the grand prize of a brand new tool box! Everyone who attended left with some sort of prize. Along with some great memories to last a lifetime. A huge shout out and thank you to Garth from our Parts Department for coordinating this awesome night! A.L.E.R.T. | Betty Wood’s Memorial Golf Tournament

This tournament is held to raise funds for the A.L.E.R.T. program and the Betty Woods Flathead Valley Emergency Services Endowment. Learn more. Kalispell Toyota has been a proud Title sponsor for this foundation for multiple years. We had two teams participate in the golf tournament on July 9th and had a hand full of employees that were able to attend the  A.L.E.R.T. banquet. We set up a Tent at Village Greens Golf Course on hole 4. This was to sign up participating players to qualify for our our Million Dollar Hole In One Shootout. As well as hand out fun Toyota swag such as umbrellas, sunglasses, chapstick, and pens. We brang a few vehicles along to feature at holes along the course including a 2022 Hybrid Tundra, 4Runner, and Highlander.

Art in the Park

A local crafts festival located in the heart of downtown Kalispell. Held at Depot Park on July 15th-17th for 2022. This local event directly supports the Hockaday’s educational art exhibitions and programs. This festival is full of handmade jewelry, paintings, housewares and ceramics from artists around the country. On top of the over 80 vendors present, you will find children activities, delicious food, live music and premium beer and wine. Kalispell Toyota was present with a tent giving away fun, free, Toyota items.

Toyota Tuesday

Save money at a fun filled exciting day at Silverwood Theme Park in Athol Idaho. On July 12th and July 19th if you drive a Toyota into the theme park you will receive one free admission into the park. Experience a day full of thrilling roller coasters, games, food, and magic shows. July gets pretty hot so be sure to bring your swimsuit to cool off at the Boulder Beach Waterpark.

Picnic in the Park

This is another family fun event to help support the local Parks and Recreation in Kalispell. This concerts series takes place on Tuesday evenings and a few Wednesday afternoons. The concerts are held in the heart of Kalispell at Depot Park. Featuring amazing music from local bands. Come hungry to feast on delicious food from multiple food trucks that are present. Kalispell Toyota was present on July 26th handing out free Toyota gear. We also invited all our employees from all three of our dealerships to enjoy $30 dollars worth of complimentary food vouchers good to use at any of the food trucks that were present.
